Job Overview:
This is an opportunity to provide input and influence change in procedure and process in a 20 year old organization.
Your Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing daily purchasing in line with the organization objectives and guidelines.
- Updating product data and price.
- Follow up and update back order status.
- Purchase performance analysis.
- Assist to review and manage supplier relationship.
- Sell through and vendor reporting as required.
- Forecasting and reporting for internal management.
- Management of B2B portal, and customer profiles.
- Entry and processing of creditor invoices/supplier invoices as required.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience:
- Must have a strong analytical and business acumen.
- Relevant experience in local IT Channel Industry in product procurement an advantage.
- Strong passion for IT/Computers with broad knowledge in technology/PC components.
- Established relationships with industry distributors/suppliers/vendors also an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Fast and efficient worker due to dynamic work environment.
- Great communication skills.
- Excellent work ethic and responsibility.
