What you'll do:

  • Install and configure database instances by agreement and in collaboration with software development and application teams
  • Proactively manage incidents as they occur to return the system to an operating state as soon as practicably possible
  • Collaborate closely with the project team, helping to ensure database environments are effectively designed, follow security best practice and are fully tested as part of the SDLC
  • Define, test and implement non-project based changes in order to ensure the smooth running of the organisations infrastructure
  • Proactively monitor, troubleshoot and resolve problems with the database environment
  • Provide operational support for TabCorp database infrastructure, ensuring SLA's a met
  • Continue driving the automation of our database solutions
  • Proactively maintain awareness of industry trends, providing advice and sharing knowledge with team members
  • Proactively mentor less experienced team members
  • Participate in the on call roster

What you bring:
