What you'll do:
- Install and configure database instances by agreement and in collaboration with software development and application teams
- Proactively manage incidents as they occur to return the system to an operating state as soon as practicably possible
- Collaborate closely with the project team, helping to ensure database environments are effectively designed, follow security best practice and are fully tested as part of the SDLC
- Define, test and implement non-project based changes in order to ensure the smooth running of the organisations infrastructure
- Proactively monitor, troubleshoot and resolve problems with the database environment
- Provide operational support for TabCorp database infrastructure, ensuring SLA's a met
- Continue driving the automation of our database solutions
- Proactively maintain awareness of industry trends, providing advice and sharing knowledge with team members
- Proactively mentor less experienced team members
- Participate in the on call roster
What you bring:
