The Opportunity

Rowben Consulting is excited to announce an amazing opportunity for an experienced and customer service orientated Service Desk Analys with Level 1 experience to join a leading Australian organisation. This is a contract opportunity based in Melbourne CBD.

This role will see you working alongside an experienced service desk team and offers an exciting opportuntiy to provide amazing customer service in a supportive environment.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support over the phone to end users to ensure that they have the best possible experience when seeking technical assistance.

This position will see you being involve and work closely with an enthusiastic and customer focused team to deliver a high standard of support when investigating and resolving incidents. You will have the ability to provide a people-oriented support service, in addition to identifying areas of improvement during the resolution process.

In order to be suitable for these roles, then you will ideally have a strength in the following:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar Service Desk or Help Desk role;
  • Strong experience providing level 1 support;
  • Experience using an internal tickering system;
  • Excellent phone manner and face to face customer service skills;
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills;
  • Good time management and organisational skills

The Benefits

This is an initial 2 month contract with standard business hours which will then convert into a longer term opportuntiy which may involve a rotation or shift style hours. You will provided with training from the Service Support team.
