We’re looking for a knowledgeable Ecommerce Web Developer that can also maintain our online presence.

Our company has been in business for over 20 years importing broader market, quality products for retailers. A passion for audio/music would be great!

Reporting directly to the directors, the role is:

• Focussed on the design, maintenance and delivery of e-commerce websites and online stores.
• Focussed on content and mobile browser interop (“responsive”). Re-use is allowable under controlled circumstances, so make your talent shine.
• Moderately focussed on development.

Essential Experience/Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of building e-commerce sites both in B2B (reseller/wholesale) and B2C
• Front-end design and development (yes, the obvious technologies included)
• Graphic design
• cPanel configuration
• Object Oriented PHP Debugging and Development – a light amount of work here, knowledge is important
• Database maintenance and queries (MySQL)

Desirable Experience/Knowledge:

• Experience with CS-Cart or similar highly maintainable and pluggable ecommerce frameworks
• An advanced understanding of hosting and system maintenance is desirable.
• An understanding of API’s and consumers is desirable.
• An understanding of email systems for website contact forms is desirable.
• Experience with Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager - desirable.
• An understanding of branding requirements is desirable.
