The Role
Our newly created Data Office have an opening for an experienced Data Governance Analyst to join us on a 12-month fixed term basis. You will join an innovative team that develops and implements the policy and governance relating to data within QSuper.

This role will see you drive the consistency of reported information, and its reflection of business requirements. You will work directly in support of this objective from an analytical perspective. You’ll discover, deconstruct and analyse the existing portfolio of reports and data products at QSuper to identify existing data sources, business rules and transformations, calculations and terminology applied within it. Reporting to the Enterprise Data Steward, a key aspect of the role will be documenting and maintaining a Business Glossary of measures and a Data Dictionary of metrics.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Data Management frameworks and practices including Data Quality: DAMA, APRA CPG-235 is essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels is essential
  • Basic framework, policy and standards writing skills are desirable.
    Certified Data Management and/or Certified Information Professional is desirable.
