The Role
QSuper has recently introduced a new Data Office to the I&T Division and as a result, we have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Data Analyst to join our team. As the Data Analyst you will analyse existing data management processes and identify changes to ensure best practice efficiency. This is a fast-paced and varied role in which you will seek to understand the entire data lifecycle and ensure the required controls are applied. Reporting to the Data Manager, you will proactively contribute to QSuper’s newly-established data management policies, standards and processes to ensure relevancy. This is a 12 month fixed term position.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Extensive experience in data processes and process mapping.
- Understanding of all key data processes including data acquisition and ingestion, data storage and management, data modelling, reporting and data supply and support.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Data Management frameworks and practices including Data Quality: DAMA, APRA CPG-235 is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels is essential
- Basic framework, policy and standards writing skills are desirable.
- Certified Data Management and/or Certified Information Professional is desirable.
