Randstad Technologies is working in collaboration with a large Government client to identify a PMO Analyst to join their large, fast paced PMO and play a key role supporting operations across a complex portfolio of projects they are currently delivering. The initial contract is for 2 months with view to extend as the program develops.
The PMO Analyst is responsible for the collection of key program status updates and program metrics from Project Leads, Project Managers, Project Directors and PMO team.
Selection Criteria
- 4-5 years of experience in Program Management Office (PMO) Analyst, Co-ordinator or similar role working on ICT projects.
- Experience in working within a structured project management framework such as PRINCE2
- Familiarity with program management approaches and phases of the program management lifecycle
- Experience in establishment and application of Program Management Office standards and processes
- Experience in multi-level reporting across a range of projects and programs
- Proven exposure to the end to end project lifecycle
- Qualification(s) in Project and/or Program Management discipline(s) is highly desirable
- Well-developed communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and confidentiality
- Experience in IT and Government projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Visio and PowerPoint
- Depth of experience working on larger programs and/ or within PMOs at larger organisations - theoretical understanding and awareness of process and templates are important however ability to adopt the most suitable approach within a complex, dynamic environment is key
- Experience in stakeholder engagements including challenging stakeholders (at times getting the right information at the right time can be difficult and requires diplomacy and empathy particularly during periods where key resources are under high levels of stress and time poor)
