About the role

As our Help Desk Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating the technical team, taking calls, managing tickets, managing dispatch calendars and job queues. 

  • Monitoring projects and milestones, building relationships with clients and building reports for management.
  • You will escalate calls and be creating tickets for a team of motivated engineers and technicians.
  • You will also be responsible for the ticket life cycle from start to completion for the technical team. 
  • You have proven experience in organising and running weekly team meetings with impact.
  • You will be checking, approving and posting completed jobs and working with the accounts department for invoicing.

About us

Pinpoint I.T. Australia is based in Thornton - Newcastle, NSW. We specialise in providing end to end managed services, alongside network, cloud, security, back-up, storage and VoIP solutions, backed by ISP services, project management, consultancy and contracting capabilities.

Skills & experience

  • 2 years' experience leading and managing an IT Help desk team
  • Experience in management tasks, running meetings, reporting, accounting, all with customer service exceelence
  • Extensive experience in administration tasks, assisting with accounts and end of month contracts
  • Experience working with a Managed Service provider
  • Experience with desktop, network and server troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Experience with Microsoft Server (Server 2008 to Server 2016)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with Autotask and N-Able is a plus
  • ITIL knowledge & experience is a plus
  • Microsoft certifications desired
