We seek experienced Technical Consultants to deliver the latest in enterprise based solutions for a large enterprise project where you be supported by a team of some of the industry's finest.
Our client is an International Vendor, servicing Fortune 500 clients and Government agencies and is always at the forefront of exciting transformation projects.

Project overview:
End client is from the Telecommunications Industry. Range of ongoing BAU/project requiring architecture, technical consultancy and implementation skills.
Location: Melbourne
Contract duration: 6m (possibility of a further 6m extension)
Responsibilities to include:
- Identify areas of focus and use cases (High Availability, recovery etc) and tenant architecture
- Customer Environment assessment HW, Servers, Switching, Fabrics, networking layout, protocols, bandwith, latendy etc.
- HW design, racks, servers, switches (List of compute, storage and network HW available for deployment)
- IP Plan for Servers and Switches ( Table of IP and MAC addresses for the network assets in the deployment.)
- Hardware Design Templates and Preparation
- Hardware Documentation and Handover (Operations Manual, Knowledge Transfer and workshops, Acceptance test plans)
General:
- Min. 3 Years Consulting Experience
- 5 Years Project Delivery Experience
- 7 Years Technical Operations Experience
The following skills will be required:
- Ability to converse confidently with compute, storage and networking issues related to implementing Dell EMC hardware.
- Architectural skills to participate in design and architecture workshops
- Knowledge of the following:
- Dell PowerEdge, DSS, Z9100 switches
- IDRAC, RackHD, OpenManage provisioning, Redfish
- Redhat OSP knowledge, including Ironic and OSPd and CEPH
- Automation skills: jetpack, ansible, python, CI tool chains like Jenkins and Robot
- Agile PM skills: Has used Jira, Confluence in scrum based project before
