About the role
Your primary areas of accountability will be:
- Continuous improvement of core applications
- Design, develop, implement & maintain business applications and integrations
- Investigate and deliver business solutions
- Present demonstrations to clients
- Scope & manage new application projects
And specific responsibilities will include:
- Become an expert in the architecture, operation, features & structure of the product suite
- Liaise with customers & stakeholders to resolve operational issues
- Assist with data extraction, dashboard reporting and data cleansing
- Work with clients implementing new features & provide technical support for customer transitions
- Assist with preparing and providing system demonstrations
- Perform application maintenance & enhancement tasks on legacy and emerging systems in PHP and MYSQL environments
- Provide support for deploying systems to production
Skills and experience
About you
You are an energetic developer who loves solving problems. You enjoy working with a variety of technologies and learning new systems.
You will be great at:
- Trouble shooting and creatively solving problems
- Communicating – both written and spoken
- Interacting with clients and business stakeholders
- Php, database and front end development
You will have:
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
- Level 1,2 & 3 application support experience
- Strong technical capabilities using
- PHP
- SQL
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- Project management & scoping skills
- A can do attitude and outstanding work ethic
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
- Capability to meet deadlines under pressure
