Job Description

 

Reporting into the Team Leader, Technical Support this role is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all levels of the business in an efficient and professional manner. Some of the key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Identifying and proactively resolving IT issues
  • Providing first and second level hardware and software support
  • Adhering to all processes and documenting procedures accordingly
  • Making recommendations on upgrades and replacements when necessary

Some of the key technologies that this position will be supporting are:

  • Windows 10
  • MS Office 365 – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, One Note, One Drive
  • Citrix
  • Skype for Business
  • Audio and Visual (conferencing) 

 

 

Qualifications

 

The successful candidate will hold a relevant tertiary qualification and around 12 months experience in a similar role would be ideal. Your experience will highlight your strong customer/client service approach to resolving IT related enquiries, and ability to build relationships across all levels of the business. Furthermore, your working knowledge of Microsoft applications, knowledge of networks (LAN/WAN), the ability to prioritise your work load, flexible attitude in terms of changing work requirements and your desire to work in a highly team orientated environment will see you succeed.

Alternatively, consideration will be given to a recent IT graduate with superior oral and written communication ability, and a proactive, can-do attitude.
