Our client, an IT managed services provider who works with small, medium and large corporate and government clients is seeking a Helpdesk/Desktop Support Analyst to join their growing team, this role provides extensive variety and career progression.

As part of the technical team, you will be accountable for level 1 and 2 helpdesk/desktop support. You will work with the technical team to assist with troubleshooting technical issues, including but not limited to Microsoft Windows XP/Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Active Directory, MS Exchange and much more.

In order to be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years helpdesk/desktop support experience (or will not be considered)
  • Excellent customer service (empathising with the client and assisting clients) is a mandatory part of this role
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Experience troubleshooting Office/Outlook  2007/2010/2013, Active Directory, group policy, DNS/DHCP and desktop support
  • Exposure to windows servers 2003/2007/2010/2012 and 2016,
  • Understanding of networking (switches/routers/LAN/WAN VPN)
  • Experience building and deploying SOE imaging 
  • Previous experience using a ticketing system to document issues (Kaseya/Auto Task or Connectwise would be highly advantageous)
  • A proactive approach to fixing issues and thinking outside the square
  • Experience creating and updating documentation 
  • Drivers Licence is essential as you may be required to attend client sites from time to time
