Senior Systems Engineer required to lead a technical team of software engineers, providing technical solution direction and acting as the technical decision maker, as well as actively participating in hands-on design, coding and test activities.

This role will see you responsible for ensuring that agile software engineering practices are adopted and continuously evolved and that software changes are delivered with a high degree of quality and efficiency. You will be frequently coordinating with Product Owners, Lead Delivery Engineers and Iteration Leads within this large Service team.

Background and experience

• Minimum of 7 years experience within platform engineering, database technology, software engineering within the enterprise application domain
• Demonstrable experience within a leadership position, managing technical escalations within a small team
• Oracle E-Business Suite
• Significant experience with enterprise application software implementation
• Experience with Hyperion, TRIRIGA, Demantra or Ariba would be highly desirable
• Proven experience in systems delivery within an Agile framework
