About the business and the role

We are a rapidly growing, industry leader in the phone/tablet market. We are predominately an online business, with a strong focus on our I.T systems and business procedures. We are seeking an energetic and flexible individual to help us manage day-to-day operations; perform quality control tests and reply to customer enquiries.

Not only do we strive to make it quick and easy for our customers, the same goes for our staff. We believe that happy employee's are just as important as happy customers. 

The ideal candidate would have an interest in technology/phones, have a strong eye for detail and be looking to work 3 days a week (~20 hours). Preferable availability for Mondays, Wednesdays And Thursdays.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Carry out testing on the mobile devices we receive each day and identify a range of software or hardware faults (mostly common sense)
  • Assess the physical condition of devices and report to us accordingly
  • Access and edit data using our user-friendly cloud based software system
  • Work diligently and autonomously to perform quality assessments
  • Customer service: Respond to email requests from customers
    (Email, phone, face-to-face)

Skills, Experience & Attitude

Candidates must be comfortable with data entry and have an eye for detail. Customer service experience is preferred but not essential.

  • Sound computer skills.

Ideal but not essential

  • Experience working with mobile devices or similar electronics
  • Experience in customer service relationships
  • An understanding of different iOS and Android systems
