Our Opportunity

The Toshiba Managed Services team is new and growing rapidly. We need someone for this newly created role. With 6 new sales staff also being hired to feed your business, no two days will be the same. You will be the subject matter expert for advanced technical disciplines across multiple client engagements, and key to the design, deployment and delivery of software solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Work with the Software Sales Consultant and Systems Specialist during the software sales cycle, including technical scoping, deployment, solution delivery and post-sale reporting.
• Architect, design and take responsibility for the technical deployment and software solution opportunities.
• Assisting by developing and assisting in the development of rapid prototyping demonstrations.
• Support Toshiba Professional Services staff in the technical aspects of software projects, including documentation relating to proposals, deployment planning and end user training.
• Provide programmatic support in the design and installation of document solutions.
• Create customised solutions to meet specific customer requirements.
• Develop internal solutions to augment or complement the existing Solutions portfolio, or to integrate into established third-party line-of-business applications.
• Conduct technical training with the Toshiba Professional Services division on the configuration, deployment and support of advanced software solutions.

Our requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to work effectively with customers and Toshiba team members across   multiple departments and at various levels.  Therefore, sound interpersonal skills and a commitment to the Toshiba Values will ensure success.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, working with document/records/knowledge/workflow management systems
• Track record in assisting in the design and delivery of enterprise content management solutions
• Demonstrable skills in enterprise software development methodologies and architecture, including experience with RDBMS, application frameworks and platforms (such as .NET, Java, OSGi and CORBA).
• Experience in integration programming utilising vendor-specific APIs and SDKs (implemented via REST, SOAP, COM and WinAPI)
• Java developer with solid development experience using Java (JDBC/JPA/Hibernate, Spring Framework or Spring Boot)
• Experience using Javascript, AngularJS, CSS, HTML
• Proven experience in developing RESTful webservices
• Exposure to database development and design with SQL Server
• Able to contribute to the design and implementation of frameworks and their enhancements
• Loves to code and with the ability to communicate ideas effectively.
• With an attitude of wanting to constantly improve and learn new technologies
