An iconic retail business is seeking a strong Portfolio Manager. Reporting to Head of Delivery Office, the Portfolio Manager will support the successful delivery of key initiatives, through rigorous project management whilst building project management capabilities and a robust project management framework.
Responsibilities of the role
- Partnering consistently with multiple rogram stakeholders including Strategy, Culture and Change, Store Capacity and Finance on initiatives supporting key activities and deliverables
- Delivery Office communication and reporting
- Coach and support users in the project management tool, this will include onboarding of users as well as user administration
- Embedding standard project management practices
- Develop training programs as required to build project management capability
- Collaborate and support Head of Delivery Office and Portfolio Manager as required
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Project Management or Program Management experience prior to moving into PMO / Portfolio Management
- Strong time management and excellent organisation skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Solid understanding of traditional and agile delivery approaches
- Experience with project management tools, process improvement and Project/Program reporting
- Ability and experience collaborating with cross functional teams
- Built and managed effective relationships with the project community and senior leadership
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment with a high level of ambiguity
