Snooze Management, based in Canterbury Victoria is currently seeking a Systems Engineer to provide fast and effective technical assistance for a variety of computer systems .

Reporting to Head of Technology , your main responsibilities will include;

Technical

  • Providing Project Services to deliver new technical solutions for clients. This includes installing, configuring and testing of new systems, such as workstation builds, servers (file, domain, terminal and SQL server), NAS/storage.
  • Strong general judgement and action orientation coupled with strong problem-solving skills in a complex IT environment.
  • Demonstrated planning skills and the ability to follow set plans, and work to deadlines.
  • Monitoring network traffic, analysing capacity, load of networks and servers to ensure optimal operation and identify possible improvements.
  • Proven administration, troubleshooting and networking experience in LANs, WANs, Firewalls, Routers, Switches and WAPs (via UI and CLI).
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with the Microsoft suite of products and their administration (Server, SCCM, Exchange, AD, O365 etc.) is required.
  • Extensive knowledge and troubleshooting experience with Virtual Platform technologies.
  • Experience with Cisco, HP & Riverbed suite of products and their administration is highly desired.
  • Experience in "Cloud" infrastructure and SaaS (MS Azure or AWS) is desired, but not essential.
  • Industry certifications (MCP, CCNA, MCSE, SCCM, VCP) are highly desired, but not essential.

  • Ability to work under pressure in fast paced, dynamic work environment
  • Excellent documentation skills and detail orientated
  • Proactive and regular communication with the business and other areas of IT whose work impacts, or depends upon, the Technology Operations team
  • Develop sound professional working relationships with IT colleagues, business staff and management, building their confidence and acquiring an understanding of the business
  • Ensure that all Incident Requests are resolved within specified SLAs
  • Ensure proper escalation procedures are followed and where required liaise with other support areas and 3rd parties to ensure problems are resolved within SLA
  • Strong customer service focus with a realistic viewpoint on timeframes and limitations of environment

 General

  • Provide assistance on other ad hoc duties as and when required by the Technology Operations Manager
