Our Federal Government client requires a Personnel Security Vetting Officer to assist in the vetting of Security Clearances. You will also be required to assess complex clearance cases, provide Quality Assurance on Personal Security Files (PSFs), and provide sound advice on clearance outcomes.
As this is a security designated position you must be an Australian Citizen & you will be required to have a current security clearance of Negative Vetting level 1 or above.
Essential Skills/Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security)
- Interpersonal skills - ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders in relation to security vetting services;
- Effective communication skills at all levels (written and verbal);
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to deliver project outcomes within specified parameters including timeframes and objectives;
- Ability to work under limited direction
- Experience in planning, prioritising & organising work for self & others
- Knowledge of government legislation, audit regulations & legal obligations in relation records management.
- Please note: a minimum of 5 years vetting experience is desirable.
Note - This federal govt client requires candidates to be Australian Citizens with at least a Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance
