About the Role:
  
Our Information Technology function has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time and experienced IT Service and Support Centre Manager to join the team.
  
Reporting to the Enterprise IT Operations Manager – Industrial Division the primary focus of this role is to manage the delivery of Information Technology Service Desk services across Sime Darby Industrial.
  
In this key role, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Manage and lead the Sime Darby Industrial Service Desk team across four dealerships in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and China
  • Manage internal resources and external service providers to ensure high quality services are provided to the business
  • Prepare Status Reports and other documentation as required to manage Service Desk capability and availability
  • Deliver management oversight for coordination and engagement with key external partners (Vendors) and contractors
  • Provide day to day management of the Incident, Problem and Event management processes as per ITIL framework.
  • Implement and maintain ongoing management of an Asset Management solution
  • Prepare management reports as required
  • Create, update maintain the IT Service Catalogues
  
About You
  
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:  
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role within a within a multinational company
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a multi-cultural geographically distributed team
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Currently hold a ITIL V3 Foundation level certification or higher
  • Certifications in MSCE or CCNA will be highly desirable
  • Proven experience in developing and/or updating IT Service Catalogues in large, complex multinational companies
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft office products, desktop and server operating systems and networking concepts and fundamentals
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft System Centre products and their use; primarily Configuration Manager and Operations Manager
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining effective work relationships to across all levels of business (technical, management and staff)
  • Strong interpersonal and communications (written and verbal) with a customer service focus
