Career Medical is currently seeking Technical Business Analyst with one of our clients in the digital healthcare sector. It is a 12 months fixed term contract with high chances of extension.

The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for the definition and documentation of technical requirements to support the understanding and delivery of solutions for the Portfolio within the Consumer Health Services (CHS) development teams – ensuring Portfolio deliverables are achieved for the consumer-facing digital properties as well as supporting platform services. The person in this position plays an important role working in a multi-stakeholder environment to facilitate the definition and documentation of requirements in order to understand and deliver solutions that provide value to the relevant stakeholders. With many differing perspectives, the Technical Business Analyst is required to cut through opinions and drive out the real needs of stakeholders, aligned to the overall objectives of the business. The technical business analyst will work with users to formulate system requirements, develop system plans and technical documentation, review and evaluate existing systems, and design and modify systems to meet users' business needs.

The position is also responsible for facilitating agile practices where required and to ensure that commitments are understood and enacted in the development teams, with product owners, application architect and any dependent internal or external activities to deliver on planned release schedules.

The successful candidate will have;

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
• Strong Privacy Legislation compliance experience/knowledge.
• 3+ years of technical business analysis experience developing software applications
• 2+ yrs experience as Scrum Master/Agile co-ordinator within a software development team.
• Solid technical background with experience working on system interfaces and data mapping and API’s (REST, SOAP)
• Able to demonstrate expertise in producing functional specification and technical requirements documents
• Good working and background knowledge in most if not all areas of business analysis, as defined by the IIBA’s knowledge areas
• Familiarity with content management systems an advantage
• Proven ability to manage Scrum and agile delivery processes within a multi-product environment.
• Atlassian JIRA and JIRA Agile experience.
• [advantageous] Exposure to enterprise level organisational processes and development practices – eg. formal release management and operational support.
• [advantageous] Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification
• [advantageous] IIBA Certification
