- Temporary full time for 6 months with a possibilty of an extension
- Salary in the range of $105,909 to $113,673 per annum excluding superannuation

As a Principal Cloud Specialist at CITEC, you will use your specialist level technical expertise to advise, manage, administer and support CITEC’s multi-tenanted cloud services and customers. The CITEC Cloud Services team is an inclusive, supportive and outcomes driven team.
Your role is to provide specialist technical system support and advice to stakeholders, including customers, business partners and internal staff. You will require a solid understanding of cloud and virtual computing concepts, experience designing, deploying and operating virtualisation infrastructure hardware and software, and knowledge and experience among a few of: VMware Platforms, Microsoft Azure Stack/Pack, AWS, Oracle Virtual Machine (OVM) and OpenStack.
Your suitability for this role will be assessed against your:
- Technical experience in performing system administration activities in an enterprise or service provider environment.
- Experience in providing effective and quality systems administration, management and enhancement services to clients with reliability and in meeting agreed deadlines and commitments
- Ability to build and sustain positive relationships and responsiveness to customer needs and expectations
- Ability to communicate with influence in an environment that deals with complex infrastructure architecture and a complex customer base
