About the role

We are continuously looking for smart, driven professionals to join our Company, helping to deliver our solutions to a large and continually growing customer base across Australia and New Zealand.

Working in our Professional Services Organisation (PSO) team, our consultants implement, upgrade and support changes to all Manhattan software solutions. As a Consultant with Manhattan Associates, you will have the unique opportunity to combine your technical aptitude, business and supply chain knowledge and desire for face-to-face client contact, while obtaining ongoing opportunities to develop your professional skills.

In an exciting software consulting career, you will be working directly with our clients, many of the region's and world's leading manufacturers, retailers and distributors onsite and supporting their business growth. While being exposed to leading edge technology and functionality within the market.

You do not need to be a programmer or a coder to perform this job, but a love of software, supply chain and consulting is definitely a must!

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides system implementation support during the project life cycle including design, configuration, testing, key documentation, go live support and user training;
• Helps to solve challenging business requirements and answer complex questions by engaging proactively with our clients;
• Analyses and resolves issues that arise throughout the implementation. Works with other team members to communicate and resolve technical issues;
• Provides timely project updates to the Project Manager and Practice Lead;
• Participates in training to enhance skills necessary to be a valuable team member;
• Minimum of 50% travel required.

Skills/Qualifications

• Entry level professional contributor on a project or specialty work team;
• Adhere to departmental processes and procedures;
• 6 months to 3 years' experience working in a client/customer facing role ideally with a software consulting, or cloud-based solutions organisation;
• Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related field;
• Excellent time management and prioritising skills;
• Great passion for learning new solutions, technologies and an appetite to undertake new challenges;
• Self-motivated team player;
• Exposure to Microsoft SQL is desirable along with strong Windows/Office skills. Knowledge of reporting software like SSRS or Cognos is highly regarded;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
