The Role:

This is a broad and varied role in a small team that supports Windows desktops, Microsoft services such as Office 365, Sharepoint, Active Directory, file shares, and Windows servers. SharePoint experience is essential for this role, as we plan to develop the current SharePoint system to deliver large projects.

Based in Subiaco, you will be reporting to the ICT Manager and be responsible for communicating directly with a small group of users to resolve queries and incidents. It will also include the design, testing and implementation of ICT solutions to assist in project delivery.

This opportunity will allow you to develop your ICT skills and gain experience in delivering solutions using the Office 365 suite of apps. Our approach is to use “out of the box” solutions as much as possible, programming skills are desirable but not essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ICT Hardware and software support
  • Configuring and deploying workstations
  • Microsoft server configuration and maintenance
  • Configuring and developing solutions in SharePoint Online / 0365 apps
  • Assistance with ICT projects
  • Documenting processes and procedures

 

About You:

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

  • Experience in SharePoint online administration and development
  • Demonstrated technical understanding and knowledge of PC hardware/software in networked based environments, peripherals, PC operating systems and a range of application software
  • Excellent troubleshooting and remediation skills
  • Sound knowledge of
    • SharePoint online
    • Windows 7/10
    • Windows Server 2008/2016
    • Office 365 suite
    • Active Directory
    • Windows file shares
    • Group Policy
    • Networks and routing
    • Strong communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Understanding of the Azure cloud platform
  • SQL database querying skills would be beneficial, but not required
  • Microsoft and ITIL Certifications will be highly regarded
  • Current driver’s license
