Our client is an industry leader involved in exciting and innovative service solutions within the utilities industry. Their culture is collaborative, supportive, and vibrant, focussing on the wellbeing and safety of all their people.
They seek a talented Test Analyst with prior experience in automation testing. The successful candidate will work closely with a Senior Test Automation Analyst on a customer self-service portal project, creating, executing and maintaining test scripts utilising Automation tools.

To be successful you will require:
- Agile Experience
- Automation Skills – Protractor (end to end testing framework - based on Selenium)
- Automated API Testing – Mocha or Chakram or Karma
- Test Automation and Functional Testing, Integration testing and Co-ordinating UAT)
- Hands on CI and CD experience preferably with Jenkins
- Understanding of Rest API/JSON
- Experienced of Testing in Mean stack is an advantage.
- Experienced in software development is an added advantage.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Mandatory 5 years of experience as a Test Automation experience
- Solid experience with functional and non-functional testing of configured / customized software products
- Experience utilising test tools such as SILK Central Test Manager and JIRA
- Certification in Testing (ISTQB or other) and / or relevant tertiary qualification in an IT or a business stream
- A solid understanding of the SDLC and test methodologies and Agile methods
- Experience in defining and managing vendor testing activities
- Strong experience in defect management
- Proven experience in developing test protocols and scripts based on requirements, design and vendor testing
- Results focused
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent time management skills; able to manage conflicting priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Use of initiative and analytical approach to problem investigation
- Able to work well within a team, with strong interpersonal skills
- Relationship management - strong interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and mediation skills;
- Exceptional attention to detail
