With almost 70 years’ experience in the industry, Stratco is a dynamic, national leader in the manufacture and marketing of building and home improvement products. With an outstanding record of continual growth, Stratco now has manufacturing plants and Home Improvement Stores in all mainland states of Australia and several international locations.

About the role:

Stratco has recently commenced a significant ERP project that will replace and upgrade the majority of our existing IT systems and improve and standardise our business processes nationally. The project will have a large impact on all functions of the Stratco business across 50 sites and will necessitate the delivery of a sound & sustainable Reporting & Analytics suite as part of Stratco’s Project ENABLE.

Based in our Adelaide head office, you will play a pivotal technical lead role, primarily responsible for designing & defining solutions as well as directing others throughout the implementation process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define future reporting and analytics solution architecture;
• Work with Project SMEs and other team members to understand and define the future reporting suite across the complete spectrum of operational, analytical and dashboard information requirements;
• Analyse and define Data Models and ETL solutions to ensure data quality and consistency
• Lead & manage technical resources in the delivery of the new reporting platforms;
• Deliver & test the new reporting solutions across the agreed solution architecture;
• Assist in the testing, training & deployment of the various reporting solutions;
• Lead and coach other Stratco BI developers to help build capability and experience;
• Manage key stakeholders, providing clear direction, targets, agreed deliverables, timeframes, purpose & context.

Skills, Experience & Attributes:

• Detailed knowledge of BI, Data Warehouse and Analytics methodologies and solutions;
• Proven experience in developing reporting solutions integrated with commercial off the shelf ERPs;
• Oracle OBIEE or Oracle OAC experience highly regarded;
• Demonstrated experience in delivering enterprise wide reporting solutions for national or multinational organisations;
• Sound knowledge and experience in successfully managing and delivering results within time restraints and with competing priorities;
• Proven conceptual and analytical abilities with sound knowledge of BI and Analytics practices and techniques to enable innovation;
• Demonstrated ability to lead staff while developing capabilities;
• Strong intellectual capacity, communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively;
• Proven experience in writing clear business requirement, solution design and support documentation.
• Bachelor Degree in a relevant discipline or relevant role/organisational experience;
• Experience in developing working relationships with senior management and operational team members.
