Our high profile client is currently looking for an experienced Communications / Networks Professional who has previously lead a team of engineers to join their growing organisation on an initial 6 month contract. This opportunity will suit a self-starter with a broad technical background especially in LTE across multiple disciplines.
 
Main responsibilities will include scoping, planning, designing and implementing network communication systems and managing a team of engineers and rollout projects. Experience across (LTE) / 4G Networks, IP Communications engineering, LAN and WAN, MPLS as well as voice and Wi-Fi solutions will be required.
 
Perth based candidates will be given first priority.
 
Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5 + years' experience in a similar senior technical role
• Extensive lead experience- must be able to guide a team of engineers
• Manage technical issues related to project implementation
• Broad LTE experience
• Cisco qualified- CCNP minimum
• Technical knowledge of Wi-Fi, fixed and mobile infrastructure, LAN/WAN, 4G, Linux/ Unix, Cisco routing and switching and firewalls
• A good understanding of mining and mine automation principles
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Experience in preparing technical project documentation
• Experience in the preparation of engineering scopes, budgets, plans and schedules
