You must be a creative and inspiring leader who can lead a design process, present projects and guide a team to ensure all project outcomes meet the design excellence requirements of the practice.
You will also need to introduce new local work and clients to the practice through your established local connections assisting the practice directors in the identification and procurement of new opportunities within the Victorian market.
The expectation is that you are well respected and recognised by your peers within both the Victorian Architectural community + development industry alike. Your communication and team management skills, including your ability motivate and mentor others and encourage new thinking, will be second to none.
You will bring to this position at least 15 years of experience and have a proven track record of delivering projects in excess of $20M.
This is an exciting opportunity, working within an emerging studio, open to the challenge of growing this studio as part of the larger established practice nationally, offering meaningful career development, working with high profile design leaders with the opportunity to contribute to a number of key projects across our national network of studios.
The Role
Your role will include;
- Being a personable hands-on designer who can originate, draw, lead and execute
- Lead a small team through all design stages
- Establishing a local network to assist the practice directors in the identification and procurement of new opportunities within the Victorian market
Skills & experience
To be considered for the role, you will require the following;
- Proven delivery of significant projects in excess of $20M
- At least 15+ years professional experience in the Australian market
- Relevant degree in Architecture + / or Interior Design / Architecture
