The Company

Local Measure is a customer experience platform for the real world. Our tools help hotels, stadiums and theme parks have more meaningful conversations with their customers, work better in their teams, and ultimately provide exceptional experiences for their guests.

As one of two product designers on our small design team you will have a key role in shaping the future of our products.  

Here are some of the challenges you will be working on:

Discovery and Insights - What information and insights can we provide that will help our users help their customers? How can we make it easier for our users to find the information that is important to them, when and where it's needed?

Workflows and Collaboration - How do we make information actionable and how do our users keep track of what actions have been taken both on- and off-line? How does our platform fit into our users existing workflows and tools?

Designing for Scale - As we grow further and further into large organisations, how does our product handle the level of control needed to manage large amounts of data and users in an organisation. How do we provide enterprise grade control while maintaining the simplicity and usability of a consumer product?

Design at Local Measure

As a designer here you will have impact across all stages of product development. You will work with product managers to understand our customers problems and how to solve them and work directly with engineers to help bring the solutions to life.

We believe in using whatever tools you feel comfortable with and that get the message across quickly and clearly. Sometimes that's Sketch, Figma or Photoshop, sometimes it's InVision or Principal. Often we will jump straight to code and make decisions in the browser.

About you

We are not big on requirements lists, but here's a few things that will help you fit the part.

• You believe that design is about solving problems not just aesthetics

• You're passionate and excited about doing good work

• You're curious and love to learn new things

• You understand the opportunities and constraints of designing for the web and mobile

• You have some experience building and shipping digital products

We are looking for strong all-rounders with bonus points for skills or interest in areas like front-end code, animation or illustration.
