Your new company
Our client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic planner to join their established planning team. The Council has an exciting opportunity for a planner to join a dedicated team and provide high quality planning services for the Shire relevant to land use and development.

This region boasts a unique combination of unspoiled coastline, townships and picturesque rural hinterland, providing a valuable opportunity for a planner to gain exposure to a diverse range of planning applications.

Your new role
In this role, you will assist in the assessment of a broad range of town planning and subdivision applications and prepare written reports on statutory matters for consideration by Council. You will work closely with senior planners to provide comprehensive and timely advice on council planning matters and assist with public counter and telephone inquiries.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Town Planning or closely related discipline with post-graduate planning experience in Victoria. The ideal candidate will have experience in the evaluation and assessment of varied planning applications, highly developed oral skills and the ability to communicate clearly with others.
