The role
We have an opportunity for a talented Senior Urban Designer with proven drive and creativity to join our dynamic Planning, Approvals and Urban Design Team. Urban designers at GHD work on a broad range projects across a range of scales and industries both nationally and internationally; from large scale urban and landscape master planning through to detailed design solutions.

Who are we after?
A suitably qualified Urban Designer with at least eight years? experience in urban design and a tertiary qualification in architecture, landscape architecture, urban design or a related field. Ideally you will have experience and/or interest in public sector work including urban renewal, integrated transport development and tourism projects. You will be a natural team player with high-level written and verbal communication skills and embrace the challenge of identifying and actively responding to varied new business opportunities.

Your skills and attributes will include:

• Experience in the design, coordination and delivery of urban design projects
• Commitment to work as a team and with the lead urban designers and landscape architects to deliver excellent client service and high quality outputs
• Experience in communication, preparing reports and delivering presentations
• Knowledge of design packages such as Adobe Creative Suite programs, Sketchup & AutoCAD would be advantageous.
