Talent International is working in partnership with a high-profile government organisation to assist in sourcing a Senior UX Designer on contract based in South Sydney.

The successful UX Designer will be working with the development team across a large program of work with responsibility for conceiving and conducting user research, workshops with business, and translating them into sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes, information architecture. You will also design the overall functionality of the product and iterate upon it to ensure a great user experience. 

Other responsibilities include

• Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences 
• Facilitate client's product visions by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital products 
• Design and deliver information archiecture, wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimised for a wide range of devices and interfaces. 
• Documenting and producing UX Functional specification that includes, wireframes, User Flow, Information Flow design, business process changes, style guide is a must. 

In order to be considered we are seeking experienced designers who meet the following criteria:

• 5 years+ UX design industry experience demonstrated with portfolio 
• Experience in UX tools such as InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer.js, Quartz Composer 
• Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design 
• Experience in Sketch/InVision design workflows 
• Understanding of various UX standards including accessibility is a must.
