Your new company
Your new company is a state government organisation which advises on PSPs, planning scheme amendments and major developments throughout Victoria. You will be working with planners and designers that are respected in their fields and can offer excellent mentoring opportunities. This organisation offers genuine flexibility with working hours, the potential to work from home and full support to contract staff.
Your new role
In this diverse planning role, you will take on an eclectic workload and you will be able to focus on areas of strategic planning that interest you the most. Primarily, you will be working to provide project support to the Planning Implementation Team and work on the largest standout planning projects in Victoria.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified town planner (international qualifications will be considered) with suitable rights to work in Australia. You will have extensive experience either with a Victorian Council, State Government organisation or a private sector planning firm and have an understanding of the planning process from pre-application stage to amendments to delivery.
What you'll get in return
You will earn $50 per hour for an initial 2 month contract with the potential to progress within the organisation. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to develop your career, working with some of the leading planners in the country.
