An opportunity has become available for a highly motivated individual to join our team in the area of drafting and house design on a permanent / Full time basis
The successful applicant will be responsible for the drafting and design of housing plans using CAD software. The successful applicant would also assist the Sales Manager in liaison with clients to produce the initial design as well as perform amendments throughout the process to ensure our clients get precisely what they require.
The incumbent would have a good knowledge of local government policies and procedures as well as an understanding of building principles and design.
The successful applicant should possess the following Skills and Attributes:
- Demonstrated experience in the use of AUTOCAD software
- A current accreditation in Housing Energy Assessment would be an advantage but not essential
- The ability to work as a part of a team in a busy office environment
- The ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
- The ability to prioritise tasks and meet set targets and deadlines
- A proven work history of excellence in customer service
- Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Word
- Tertiary qualifications in drafting and design and demonstrated experience in the field are essential
