• Create design experiences that solve real business & customer problems;
• Take concepts and turn them into tangible design experiences that engages and delights customers;
• Shape digital user-centric products and make deliberate design decisions, that you can justify;
• Products that will have global reach, across both web and mobile applications;
• You will be wireframing & building interactive prototypes /mock-ups that will showcase your solutions;
• Translate user-experience journeys into a smooth and intuitive interface for the UI designer and developers to build;
• Create highly functional user journeys and specs for the development teams and manage those through to completion;
• Liaise with stakeholders, taking them on a journey, to showcase your product designs that solve real customer problems; and
• Everything you design is packed with user empathy and your knowledge of HCD and design thinking principles.

What you will have

• Experience in designing highly functional web and mobile applications;
• Experience in leading effective research including heuristic analysis, competitive/market analysis, user/stakeholder interviews, analytics assessment and the creation of personas/user journeys;
• Experience in Agile & Lean methodologies;
• Experience in leading workshops, research, interviews/inspections; and
• A compelling portfolio of past work.

• You are a good visionary, you think left of centre and are radical in your ideas;
• Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs;
• You challenge how customers use products and break existing norms with the ability to bring to life a product that quite simply, makes peoples’ lives easier;
• You can articulate your ideas to developers and ‘sell’ the value proposition; and
• You have excellent communication skills with the ability to present your ideas in a way that gets people excited!
