About the candidate:
We are pursuing an experienced Project Architect who would like to take their career to the next level. We seek someone who wants to contribute to our current projects and wants their input to be obtained and appreciated! The ideal candidate would want to share their knowledge with both Senior and Junior team members, where their experience would be greatly valued.
The applicant must possess the following skills and experience:
· Auto Cad software
· Sound knowledge of BCA and Australian Standards
· Experience with residential and commercial work, including Town Houses, Apartments (Mid Rise and Hi Rise)
· Knowledge of Town Planning processes.
· Strong technical ability for Tender / Construction Documentation
· Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Architect
· Be self motivated and be results driven.
· Excellent Communication Skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Work directly with the Director and general Manager of the firm
Manage a cohesive team
· Complete tasks and meet project milestones
· Communicate with clients, consultants and relevant authorities
· Oversee the preparation of Town Planning applications and cad documentation
· Oversee the preparation of Working Drawings documentation
· Work in conjunction with our construction department as part of the Contract Administration duties required
