We are seeking an experienced full-time AutoCAD drafts person to join our growing landscape design team based in the stunning Dandenong Ranges location near Monbulk.
Applicants will ideally be able to demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, enjoy a fast-paced, busy environment and capable of working through detailed landscape plans and supporting material for construction and costing.
Skills required:
- One-to-two years experience in a similar drafting role
- High proficiency with AutoCAD
- Highly organised
- Experience & understanding of producing detailed drawings for council is a must
- Ability to prioritise and understand design intent and directives
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- A Team player
- Commercial understanding – ie: deadlines, client expectations, business demands, budget/cost management
- Microsoft applications; Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Seeking something out of the ordinary when it comes to an design office environment
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Those with plant knowledge and experience will be well regarded (although not essential)
- A grounded understanding of council guidelines and endorsement processes is necessary
- Qualifications in design will be highly regarded
- Skills in SketchUp will be well regarded
