Job Description
Be apart of Black Swallows brand identity & creative! You will be working closely with the Creative Team in the process of creating and assisting in the brand identity and graphics behind Black Swallow Boutique.
We are also looking to redesign our website for an improved front-end user experience and to unify our branding so it is on-point. You should have solid experience with web design concepts including page layout and hierarchy. The design will be first in class incorporating a mobile first principle and responsive to desktop.This project will be you baby and it's a fantastic opportunity to produce an outstanding showcase piece
Key Responsibilities include:
- Designing assets for the website (banners, icons, page templates)
- Ensuring visual branding consistency throughout the business
- Print design for marketing
- Promotional Design
- Packaging design
- Design and development of weekly EDMs
- Create content that is creative and consistent with branding
- Social Media Post management
- Image retouching
Bonus points if you are able to create and edit video content
The ideal candidate:
- Passionate about graphic design with a genuine interest in beauty, fashion & social media
- At least 2+ years experience in graphic design, experience in the beauty and/or fashion industry/eCommerce environment preferred
- A strong portfolio
- Proficient skills in Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign/Lightroom and EDM creation
- An immaculate eye for detail
- Excellent time management skills and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and changing environment
- Positive attitude to work with a tight knit team
