About the business
Pacific Data Systems provides solutions and instruments for industrial and environmental applications. We are 30 years old and continue innovating in this area for our mining, agricultural, post harvest and other important customer segments.
About the role
The internal sales role includes:
- responding to inbound sales inquiries for off the shelf products (supported with full training), issuing and following up on quotations
- processing customer orders raising acknowledgments, liaising on lead times
- Issuing quotes on completed services
- Taking a portion of the inbound phone calls
- Greeting visitors to our office
You need to be confident in telephone communication and be able to build rapport with customers.
You need to be keen to take ownership of the role and take responsibility for being up to date with inquiries and orders and enjoy delivering service for customers and the business.

Skills and experience
Customer service experience is an advantage
