About the role
The purpose of the Procurement Manager is to manage, supervise and administer Funlab’s procurement and acquisition programs/cycles. The Procurement Manager will take responsibility for key purchasing and supply arrangements regarding inventories, contracted services, operating supplies, facilities management and other key business requirements as required. This role plays a critical role in the growth of Funlab both nationally and into overseas markets and will partner with key decision makers of the business.

• Consolidation of suppliers
• Supplier management and selection to ensure a stable supply chain across the Funlab network
• Sourcing of good and products, both new and existing
• Procurement efficienciences across the group
• Inventory system improvements and the development of an end to end purchasing and asset system for Funlab.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Tertiary Qualified and at least 6 years relevant experience in a similar function, ideally in a hospitality/retail industries
• Strong and proven work history in Procurement and Purchasing teams, either holding a senior role in a large team/large company or managerial role in a smaller team/smaller company
• Experience in international sourcing and international vendor selection; providing quality and volume from overseas suppliers for both domestic and international consumption
• Solid negotiation skills and ability to read, develop and interpret contracts and contracts terms. Demonstrated ability to reduce the cost of doing business.
• Systems experience; history of identifying and implementing systems and processes to improve procurement and purchasing functions
• Strategic thinking; ability to forward plan and achieve outcomes that positively impact the entire business
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral; ability to communicate and influence at all levels
• Proven history of problem solving; overcoming problems and issues with resolution with short and long term equations
• Ability to work autonomously without frequent supervision. You will be able to work to deliver strategic outcomes, on time and on budget and have the ability to identify and propose business solutions.
