The Role
 
We’re hiring a Business Analyst to join our Managed Services team based at our client site in Brisbane. The purpose of the role is to analyse requirements, write document specifications for new and BAU documents, document fixes and enhancements as well as system testing and maintenance of the Document Catalogue.
 
The ideal candidate will have to meet Customer and Stakeholder expectations, manage competing priorities and keep focused on the deliverables within timeframes. Effective communications with internal and external stakeholders to plan and schedule delivery and keep up to date with current status. Ability to understand business processes, optimise existing processes and develop system improvement will be well regarded. The position also requires excellent verbal and written communication skills to work within a large virtual team environment. 
 
As the Business Analyst you will be responsible to:  

  • Identify, raise, analyse, rectify and workaround development of Document related issues
  • Interpret Underwriting, Claims and Policy requirements and apply correct procedure in the business systems and workflow procedures
  • Provide an internal consultation service to client divisions on Document practices
  • Maintain a central Document Catalogue/Library for all Outbound Customer Transactional Documents
  • Research and monitor other companies/competitors Document products and services
  • Liaise with all business areas, testers and technical staff for system enhancements/fixes
  • Lead the Document analysis and co-ordinate development for project related Document work as required for selected projects
  • Ensure customer problems are resolved promptly and efficiently, to satisfaction of key stakeholders
  • Document management process continually reviewed and implemented to deliver solutions and deliverables.
  • Must be able to work with multiple projects requiring data analysis and documentation.
  • Adept at using Microsoft Excel and having the ability to have an eye for detail.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical knowledge & skill to creatively provide managed document service and solutions.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in data analysis and solution development within a high tech environment.  
The Person
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years’ work experience as a Business/Solution Analyst
  • Proven experience in business process, workflow analysis & management
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with test methodology
  • Project experience of small to large projects
