GA values putting animal welfare first, honesty, integrity, responsiveness, accountability and transparency.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, this full time role will play a lead role in ensuring the GA Board has high quality advice from its committee network. The role will help identify and manage the projects and other work required to manage significant industry risks and take advantage of new opportunities to sustain the industry across Australia and New Zealand.

The role liaises with senior member staff, committee chairs and members that underpin the national decision making process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Project manage all GA committee meetings so that recommendations for Board discussion and approval reflect the input of all relevant personnel
  • Manage the participant consultation and Board approval process for all new and amended national greyhound racing rules and policies
  • Manage all agreed national industry performance data including animal welfare and integrity information
