The role
The primary purpose of the role is to provide professional informed administrative and secretariat support to the Advanced Training (AT) Unit to support the management and implementation of the RACP's Advanced Training education programs.
Main duties will include:
• Coordinating administration in relation to specific AT programs to support the day-to-day operations within the unit.
• Providing advice regarding training programs and program requirements.
• Providing high-level secretariat services to AT committees, including facilitating meetings and drafting of reports and correspondence to support the work of the committees.
• Contributing to and participating in project activities as required including education program development, process improvement and policy development
The successful candidate
• Business Administration qualifications or demonstrated equivalent experience, knowledge and skills
• High level organisational skills with demonstrated ability to identify and achieve work objectives in a timely manner.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering professional client and secretariat services, including high level written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with a range of external and internal stakeholders
• Ability to negotiate and influence
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a professional team
• Demonstrated high level computer skills and experience with Microsoft applications, Word, Excel and Outlook
