McClure’s Office Supplies is the largest independently owned and operated Office Supplies Company in Victoria. Our sales office/warehouse, located in Fairfield, a short 7 km from the Melbourne CBD, offers a large range of stocked office products and also runs a fleet of company delivery drivers and offers the ability for personalised same day service.

Due to recent growth and changes in the market place, we are seeking a keen and hardworking Sales Support/ Administration to join our thriving business.

Although we prefer Office Products industry experience we will provide excellent guidance and tuition and offer an opportunity to develop your skills and define a career for the right candidate.

The Role

Reporting to the Business Owner, this is an immediate opportunity for a Sales Support/Administrator.

The primary purpose of this position is to accurately and efficiently process customer orders via telephone and web for the Victorian Sales Team as well as sales support and also provide administrative support to the purchasing team.

 

Duties involve, but not limited to:

Take customer phone orders and process online orders;

Liaise with the Vic Sales Team and clients and suppliers;

Data entry from Sales Team to prepare quote requests;

General administration duties, assisting with Reception and running office errands;

Using your initiative to seek out other tasks during "down-time" – plenty to be involved in here.

 

Your Strengths:

Able to demonstrate the ability to absorb information and learn new systems and processes;

Demonstrate calm efficiency in a busy environment;

Excellence in customer service, phone manner and a can do attitude

Enjoy working in a fast paced fun environment;

Reliable and dependable;

Candidates must also have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, great time management, and excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.

 

Requirements:

Organised, systematic and process-orientated individual;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail;

Willing to support the team as and when required;

You are motivated and proactive;

High level of integrity and accountable for actions;

The ability to work under pressure and organise workload to meet deadlines;

Be able to problem solve and think outside the box.

 

Sales experience is not a requirement for this role.
