An experienced full time medical receptionist is needed to join the team in this growing health care practice.
Your new role
Reporting to the practice manager and any other practice staff, you will be the face of the centre and will be the first point of contact for all patients and staff. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Providing impeccable customer service to all patients using email, fax or phone in a consistent and timely manner.
- Scanning/filing confidential documents
- Utilising various health care systems to create/manage patient appointments
- Maintaining office supplies
- Practice diary and room management
- Your primary responsibility is to ensure all patients have a positive experience at the agency.
- Ensuring confidentially of patient and staff information
What you'll need to succeed
- 1-2 years in a previous medical receptionist position is essential for your success in this role.
- A successful candidate will possess problem solving skills, a high level of computer literacy and the willingness to learn.
- Your positive attitude and your ability to prioritise and multitask duties will help define your future with the company.
- Experience working with a General Practitioner, Psychologist, Speech Pathologist, Physiotherapist and Podiatrist is preferred.
- Experience with different health care systems such as Cliniko, Best Practice, HealthKit and Power Diary is beneficial.
- Microsoft office and Outlook calendar proficiency.
- You’ll need the ability to make patient needs a priority.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
