About the Role:

The successful candidate will be required to provide administrative and technical support to our service teams, sub-contractors and customers. The successful candidates will enhance the customer experience and ensure that a strong customer relationship is developed.

Key Accountabilities

  • Capture and respond to inbound service enquiries with regards to repairs, spare parts requirements, warranty and commissioning
  • Allocate and coordinate service work with customers and technicians
  • Administration of all service orders including preparation of quotations, processing of invoices, issuing purchase orders, and following up debtors
  • Preparation and distribution of service and activity reports
  • Maintenance of registers and relevant documents
  • Liaising with service staff and contractors regarding any on-site scope of work
  • Assist in technical specifications required by colleagues and customer
  • Responsible for monitoring and answering after-hours phone for urgent requests

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in service administration / service environment
  • Analytical mind and technically minded
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Phone etiquette with strong customer service skills
  • Exceptional time management, organisational and planning skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Pronto experience desirable
  • Experience in the pump industry is also desirable
