The Role:

Working in a critical front of house role, you’ll need to work autonomously to achieve the administrative and business outcomes of front of house within the organisation. With a large emphasis on quality, presentation and customer service, you will have had experience working as a corporate receptionist or a similarly related client services area. This is an exceptionally busy office with a very high volume of calls being received and visitors to greet. Duties will include:-

  • Answering a very busy phone line and managing a call volume of calls in a very professional manner;
  • Records management and other various administrative tasks including maintaining a key and access register;
  • Greeting visitors and notifying appropriate staff of their arrival;
  • Directing calls to the appropriate contacts and answering a very wide variety of queries that are received;
  • Liaise with various stakeholders on behalf of the organisation.

The Person:

Representing this key Canberra employer, it will be critical that you display a high degree of integrity, professionalism and corporate polish. You will have exceptional team work coupled with the ability to work autonomously. In addition you will have:-

  • Minimum 3 + years of administration experience, preferably in a corporate reception and client services organisation;
  • Immaculate personal presentation and the ability to communicate with the highest degree of professionalism;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite;
  • Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
  • Candidates with experience in property and leasing, aviation or other infrastructure will be highly regarded.

The Salary:

A highly competitive salary ranging from $50,000 - $60,000 including superannuation will be offered to the successful candidate.
