Ansett Aircraft Spares & Services is looking to recruit into its Melbourne sales office based in Tullamarine.

 

Ansett is an established aircraft spares company, whose business includes support of major airlines, maintenance & repair/overhaul facilities in Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa. We market and sell airline surplus stock as well as OEM new manufactured parts on behalf of several leading manufacturers. We currently offer support on a wide range of aircraft including Airbus, Boeing, Fokker, Bombardier and BAE.

 

The successful candidate would join our sales team in supporting our efforts to market and sell aircraft parts to established customers as well as new airlines and MRO's. Providing a premium service to our existing customers and creating new and innovative ways to develop future business are critical requirements for the overall success of our organisation. The role will also include some basic accounting duties, such as monitoring payables and receivables as well as some day to day administrative tasks. The ideal candidate would have some experience in aircraft parts sales, or similar experience in a Customer Service environment.

 

This role demands a hardworking, self-motivated and flexible attitude while qualities such as initiative, commitment and an ability to work in a team should come as second nature. While experience in aviation industry would be beneficial, consideration would also be given to those with a background in Customer Service/Sales. Good computer skills are a must and the right candidate must be able to work under pressure and have strong verbal & written communication skills, as well as experience in MS Office products such as Excel and Word.

 

For the right candidate Ansett will offer an excellent salary package including 20 days holiday and 10 days sick time per annum. The position is a full time position with hours   8-30 - 5-00. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long term job satisfaction.
