About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team as a Front Office Receptionist on a casual basis. You will have a passion for customer service and sales, a vibrant phone manner, and a good understanding of reservation systems and third-party sites. As part of this role, in a small team environment, you will be able to help in the guest services area if required.
Your desire is to create unforgettable experiences for our guests and residents. You will be motivated and creative in your approach to providing the best experience for all.
This position is an exciting opportunity for you to bring your outstanding customer service skills to a hands-on role selling and booking travel experiences for our broad customer base. The role may require you to be able to work weekends as required, particularly in the busy seasons.
Responsibilities
- Booking guest reservations.
- Guest check in and check out
- Working with the team to ensure the best presentation of the park.
- Provision of a high standard of customer service and satisfaction to all guests.
- Responding to reasonable guest requests and assisting with issues
- Assist with other tasks as required
- Maintenance of a safe work environment in line with WH&S procedures.
- Compliance with all Company policies and procedures
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated high level of administrative/reception experience
- Demonstrated experience in handling high volume inbound calls relating to reservations and bookings
- Demonstrated ability to support a busy manager or team
- Previous experience in sales, admin or reception roles would be advantageous
- Ability to convert call enquiries into sales
- Knowledge of the Newbook reservation system is highly regarded, though not essential
- Empathetic and respectful approach to all guests
- Exceptional customer service and time management skills
