The Company
The United Protestant Association of NSW Ltd is a Christian non profit organisation dedicated to serving local communities throughout NSW. Frank & Jess Kennett Home is a 44 bed aged care facility located at Stanwell Park. We are a values led organisation with people, safety, care and relationships at the heart of our operations.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated team member to undertake Administration duties. Our facility is driven by dedicated team members who have a strong and professional work ethic and we are looking for an applicant who will be able to demonstrate these qualities.
This varied role provides administration assistance to our team and excellent customer service to our residents and their families.
Some of your duties will include, but are not limited to reception calls and enquiries, mail distribution, resident admissions, attend meetings and take and typing of minutes, managing staff rosters, updating of quality data, general typing, ordering of stationery and medical stock, other general administrative duties and assisting the Care Manager.
Your Skills & Experience:
- Previous reception and/or administration experience working in an aged care or medical setting
- Excellent verbal, written communication and customer service skills with warm telephone manner
- Advanced computer skills especially in Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher with a 50wpm typing speed
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in relation to residents personal information
- Strong organisation, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Superior attention to detail, time management and organisation skills
- A positive attitude and an ability to work well within a team environment
- Compassion, empathy, patience and respect for elderly residents, colleagues and visitors
