About the business and the role
Jai-Cor is a civil construction business and specialises in the installation of electrical and communication infrastructure. We work predominantly in the construction and civil industries and are a long established and well respected company.
The role of Administration Officer is pivotal in the day to day running of our company which employs approximately 12 staff, and requires a bubbly and versatile person who can adapt and deal with dynamic daily challenges.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Manage Office Administration
Part payroll administration via MYOB/Uattend
Accounts receivable / payable via MYOB
Assist with developing and maintaining internal policies and procedures, including WHS
Maintain vehicle and maintenance registers
Maintain training registers and compliance
Assist with HR related issues, workcover, superannuation etc.
Support the Directors and Managers with ad hoc duties as required
Skills and experience
Must be proficient in all aspects of MYOB accounting system.
Successful applicant must have a clear and proven track record in a similar position with a minimum of five years experience.
Excellent organisational and multi tasking skills.
Experience working with Word, Excel and Outlook.
Intermediate to advanced computer knowledge.
Excellent phone manner is required
